Although this is a GOOD item- we purchased together to save $$ (it was more to purchase a barbell separate) As we got it together we learned it does NOT FIT on the bench set it was offered with. It should NOT have been put together as a "buy together to save". Beings we live in AK and shipping was horrendous as it was- we chose to just "make do" rather than ship back/reorder.
